Thanks to the generous support of the Whittier Public Library Foundation, library patrons now have two MakerSpaces to create, innovate, and explore! In March 2025, we celebrated this milestone with a ribbon-cutting ceremony alongside our amazing library staff.
Now, with two MakerSpaces—one at Central Library and one at Whittwood—there are even more opportunities to tinker, craft, and bring ideas to life!

The MakerSpace offers craft stations, tools, and 3D printers that can be reserved, giving community members access to hands-on learning experiences.
Open to ages 8 & up with a valid Whittier Public Library card or Photo ID.
Come create something amazing!
