(Central) Poetry Reading featuring Riot of Roses

Meet us at the Whittier Public Library – Central location on Saturday September 19th at 1 PM to listen to stimulating, thought-provoking poetry readings from the poets of Riot of Roses Publishing House, founded by South Whittier local, Brenda Vaca.
Riot of Roses Publishing House is Xicana-owned and was founded to amplify the stories of historically silenced voices and narratives.
Taking to the library stage are Jesenia Chavez, Dr. Angélica M. Yañez, Pam Concepcion, & Brenda Vaca, each will be reading selected works for an afternoon of poetry and prose.
